Season 3 went down well among the Warzone community, with the return of Verdansk working wonders for the game’s player count. With the OG map playable again and classic guns like the HDR dominating the meta, many felt that the CoD BR was in its best state for many months.
Article continues after adThe mid-season update was an opportunity for the devs to double down, which they looked to do with the new Ladra SMG and Ranked Play on Verdansk. However, since the patch went live on May 1, players have been running into some major problems.
Warzone players report bugs and crashes in Season 3 Reloaded
Reddit user ‘WritingontheWa11s‘ called Warzone “unplayable,” arguing that while things were “great” at the start of the season, the Season 3 Reloaded update has brought back a number of issues that had been fixed previously.
Article continues after ad“All of the previous bugs that were removed are back with this update,” he explained. “Players crashing lobbies, loadouts dropping on dead bodies, plates not being inserted even after going through the animation, shots not registering due to desyncing issues. This is just to name a few.”
They were far from alone, either, as even CoD guru JGOD called the update a “complete mess” in a video on his YouTube channel. Here, he broke down a number of the biggest bugs affecting the game, including one where it can take longer to revive fallen teammates.

Article continues after adOther players in the replies mentioned that they’ve noticed an increase in the number of hackers too, likely due to the return of Ranked Play.
“The cheaters seem to be back in force. My crew is on the verge of abandoning the game,” added another player.
On top of all this, there have been plenty of reports of crashes in the middle of matches, forcing players to restart the game or even turn off their PC.

Raven Software are yet to officially address the state of Warzone following the patch, but a number of the issues mentioned are listed on the team’s Trello board, including the plating bug. This means that the devs are aware of the problems and are actively working on a fix.
